Coming up this week…
Grades: As grades will soon be out, here are a couple helpful tips* on what your child is expected to know at the end of the quarter. For phonics, they are expected to have oral mastery of all 26 phonograms. For math, they are expected to have the ability to make a 1 to 1 correspondence with numbers 1-10 and be able to write those numbers. For science and history, they are expected to be able to remember the topic being covered in that unit and answer one question correctly about what was learned. Please refer to the bi-weekly tests to practice extra in any content areas in which they are weak. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me by email to set up a phone or in-person appointment.
*This is by no means a full checklist, but these are content areas that are helpful to work on at home.
